Who we are
Tibetan Lore (“we”, “us”) operates tibetanlore.com. The data controller is callback, an individual based in China. Contact: contact@tibetanlore.com.
What we collect
- Information you give us: name, contact details, shipping address, order and customization details, and messages — provided via WhatsApp, email, or our payment provider.
- Payment information: processed by PayPal. We do not store full card details.
- Automatic: privacy-friendly, cookieless usage analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) and standard server logs.
- If you subscribe: your email address, to send you our newsletter (processed by SendPulse), with your consent — you can unsubscribe from any email.
How we use it
To respond to enquiries, take and fulfil orders, provide support and repairs, and meet legal and accounting obligations.
Legal bases (EU/UK)
Performance of a contract (your order), legitimate interests (running and securing the shop), consent (any marketing), and legal obligation.
Sharing
With service providers only as needed: payment (PayPal), shipping carriers, hosting (Cloudflare), email & newsletter (SendPulse), and messaging (WhatsApp / Meta). We do not sell your data.
International transfers
Orders are handled and shipped from China (our workshop partners), so your data may be processed outside your country — including outside the EU/UK. Where we transfer EU/UK personal data, we use an approved transfer mechanism (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum) and assess the destination’s protections. Where the law requires it, we will appoint and name an EU/UK representative here.
Retention
We keep order records only as long as needed for the order and to meet legal/tax requirements, then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (EU/UK, California, and elsewhere): access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent for marketing at any time, and the right to complain to a regulator. Email contact@tibetanlore.com to exercise them. We do not sell your personal information, or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Cookies
Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. We will add a consent banner if we introduce cookies that require consent.
